Band-selective detection: ordinary broadband RF detectors can alarm on legitimate phones, radios and wireless devices. Wi-Fi Guard restricts detection to the relevant service bands. An alarm indicates an abnormal in-band RF condition; further investigation may be needed to establish the source and intent.
